- October 29, 2006:
The Silicon Valley Marathon:
Strong showing of the MITcrc club: Ron runs a breath ahead
of the 3:00 pacer to finish at 2:59:40 ! And Paul qualifies for Boston
with a 3:28:24 (all Chip times!)

Boaz, a minute behind the 4:00 pace setter, fights the pains to set a new PR
4:01:08 . (Notice that as Boaz passes the half point at the Los Gatos High
School track, that (second) 4:00 pacer is there waiting to go). Janna
at her first Half keeps up with the (first) 4:00 pacer to finish at an
impressive 1:59:53 (Chip Time)

Scott and Kate (with maybe some 50 marathons between them) inspire newbies
Pam, Michelle and Brent to successfully complete their first marathon!

actually run in his birthday suit ? We got one shot from behind; it isn't
that clear, judge for yourself; however he did cross the finish line fully
attired.
